I think I might actually start uploading to this gallery more often. We'll see. =)

This is a character development assignment for my computer illustration class. The drawings were done on white paper in my real sketchbook, then I scanned in some cardboard and the binding from another sketchbook and pieced it all together, adding some digital painting to certain places. I enjoyed this project for the most part, but I would have liked to have been able to do more than one sheet of these, giving me more space to explore the character's possibilities.

The colours are amazing on this piece, not to mention the detail in the pencilled sketches. I love how you've incorporated different markings in each of the coloured drawings.

These guys look as thought hey would actually be prowling some vast jungle somewhere.

wel developed anatomy adn species. Love how realistic they look. very nicely done! love the sketchbook effect wit the cardboard!
